You’re not a radio DJ

Your online meetings should NOT feel like you’re hosting a radio show.

If you’re just talking at people, you’re not really connecting to them (and hey, that’s totally fine sometimes, just be conscious about it - give folks the option to turn off their cameras or take a walk while they listen).

But if you truly want people to be present in your online meetings, then interaction is everything. Here's my most important advice:

❌ Monologuing for 30 minutes straight

❌ Ignoring the chat or reactions

❌ Saving all the questions for the end

✅ Take a breath and ask some questions

✅ Use names—like “Hey Sarah, what’s your take?”

✅ Sometimes ask everyone to answer in the chat.

The more you get people involved, the better it flows.

Have a nice week,
