The secret to being more likeable online

Last week I landed a €25k deal after just one online meeting with the prospect.

In this instance, I was asked to pitch our offer. Of course we have a good offer, but so do others. The (now) client even admitted that they were talking to another party who also had a very good offer.

Why did they chose us?

They felt more connection.

😊 Smile when you join—sets the tone

👀 Look into the camera—mimics eye contact

😯 Use facial expressions—show emotion & reactions

❓Don't just pitch. Ask genuine questions.

People engage with people, not with screens (nor with pushy salespeople).

Connect to them and they will connect to your product.
